Zhen Xing Temple (Class III Historic Site)
Founded in 1723, it was originally a place for immigrants from Anxi County who worshipped Qing Shui Zu Shi, and its name was changed to Zeng Xing Temple after the reconstruction. It is situated in Jialixing and is the location of the capital of Tienn-Hseng County, which was established in the Ming Cheng period. However, using the rationale of being near the coast and not being suitable for city building, the Ching government moved the troops to Zhuluo County (now called Chiayi). From then on, Jiali Xing no longer had the opportunity to be a military-political center. Tian-xing-xian-zhi(the capital of Tienn-Hseng County) Memorial in the temple square bears witness to this unusual time.
Because not many temples collect Yewang Koji pottery, it is worth coming and seeing the wonderful Ye Wang Koji pottery collection.Other than the Yewang Koji pottery, in the temple, people can also see the door god painted by the Fu Cherng painter Tsao-Lu Tsai, ceramic fragments made by nationally treasured master Bao-yuan Wang, and wood carving pieces made by Chuang-Hua sculptor Ren Sheng Chen. All in all, they are the important pieces of work in the temple.
